It does not cause a real physiologic response to progesterone, but it does cause anti-glucocorticoid and anti-androgenic activity. It also moderates and magnifies the cervix, induces deicidal necrosis, increases uterine lining prostaglandin discharge, increases uterine tightening, and increases uterine kindness to regulated prostaglandin.

Dosage of the medications

Mifegest can be used to bring an intrauterine pregnancy to an end after 63 days of development. The 200 mg of mifepristone that has been given must be taken orally. Misoprostol 800 mcg (4 pills of 200 mcg) should be used vaginally and monitored 1–3 days thereafter. It’s a good idea to repeat the procedure a few times.

Contraindications
